Belmark Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking a dedicated Sales Support professional to strengthen the sales process and support marketing initiatives. You will manage sample requests, coordinate kits, and assist cross-functional teams to improve efficiency.

The role emphasizes strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple projects while maintaining a high level of service. Office-based with occasional travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Manages and executes customer sample request process and fulfillment in a timely manner, maintaining inventory and tracking sheets.
• Collaborates cross-functionally to standardize and streamline the sample-request process and drive efficiency.
• Collects and files additional samples, ensuring current representations are available and QA checks are completed on receipt and requests.
• Identifies needed sales kits and coordinates fulfillment of kits including industry kits and training materials.
• Assists marketing on various projects such as process development, events, data entry, and presentations.
• Manages day-to-day requests within marketing and sales support, plus special project support.
• Interacts with management and sales on an ongoing basis; may travel.
• Follows safety procedures and supports Safe Quality Foods requirements.
• May perform other duties as assigned by manager.

This role is crucial in the sales process and represents one of Belmark’s earliest opportunities to showcase our core value of speed-to-market. As a key support for the teams, this role demands the ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities within a fun, collaborative environment.

• Manages and executes customer sample request process and fulfillment within a timely manner, maintaining sample supply room inventory along with corresponding inventory and tracking sheets.


• Develops professional skills by collaborating cross-functionally to standardize and streamline the sample-request process, taking ownership of continuous efficiency improvements.


• Executes process for collecting and filing additional samples, including continuous review of available samples, ensuring the most current representations are available in inventory, and that QA checks are completed during receipt of samples and as requests are being completed.


• Identifies needed sales kits including industry kits, new sales rep training and sales tools, etc. Coordinates and oversees fulfillment of kits.


• Assists marketing team with various projects including, but not limited to, process development, event execution, lead/data entry, presentation development/editing.


• Manages day-to-day requests and functions within the marketing and sales support areas.


• Special project assistance.


• Interact with management and sales on an on-going basis.


• May be required to travel.


• Responsible to follow all safety procedures as required by the role, and to nurture a food safety culture by adhering to all Safe Quality Foods requirements.


• May perform other duties as assigned by manager.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
