Job summary

Ferguson is hiring a hands-on Sales Support Representative to assist customers, prepare quotations, and process sales orders. You will coordinate deliveries and work with Sales associates to determine the best products and solutions for customers.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, quick responses, and the ability to upsell in a fast-paced environment. Location flexibility is available with base in Omaha, NE or Grimes, IA.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of sales or customer service experience preferred.
• Experience in plumbing, HVAC, or other trades is a plus.
• Ability to upsell and respond quickly to customer needs.
• Strong ability to build relationships and follow through in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and quick to learn product knowledge.

Hours are Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Starting at $19.00 per hour and can pay higher based on experience

Location flexibility is available for this role, with the position based in Omaha, NE or Grimes, IA, based on business needs and candidate location.

Responsibilities

• Work together with Sales associates to support customer needs by determining the best products and solutions.
• Ensuring the delivery of personalized customer service through timely quotations and accurate sales orders.
• Coordinate deliveries on behalf of customers.
• Answer sales calls for general information, addressing and resolving customer concerns or questions.
• Ability to effectively use customer relationship management (CRM) system and phone system.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of sales and/or customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience in plumbing, HVAC, or other trades is a plus
• Exhibit strong skills for sales, including the ability to upsell.
• Proven track record of responding quickly to customer needs and ability to make decisions in a timely manner.
• Ability to react well in a fast-paced environment & follow through on commitments.
• Highly motivated and customer service oriented mentality with ability to build relationships is a plus.
• General digital literacy including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to quickly learn product knowledge and processes.

Pay Range:

$18.71 - $29.92

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
