Job summary

Allied Beverage Group, New Jersey’s largest wine and spirits distributor based in Elizabeth, seeks a Sales Support Assistant to aid the assigned sales person. You will check orders, process them using company systems, and communicate with customers and managers to meet schedules.

The role requires a high school diploma with some customer-facing experience; computer literacy is essential. A driver’s license is required; college education is preferred.

Overview

To assist the sales person that they are assigned to in every operation relating to that sales person’s responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Check orders to determine if they are correct
• Use computers to process and place orders
• Directly communicate with the customers and the management teams they are working with
• Must meet work schedule (time/performance) assigned

Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate with some experience in dealing with customers both On and Off-Premise
• College graduate or working at attaining a higher levels of education for future growth is preferred
• Must be computer savvy and willing to work whenever necessary
• Must have a driver’s license
• Should have some selling experience

Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated starting salary for this role is $20 per hour. In addition to salary, this role may be eligible for a discretionary bonus and offers a comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K plan with company match, Life Insurance, Long Term Disability, Flexible Spending Account, Employee Assistance Program, Pet Insurance Plan and more.
