Performs responsibilities in generating sales, market share, and profitability results for assigned territory with appropriate direction.

This position covers Green Bay, Northern WI, Door County, and the Upper Peninsula.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Meet sales objectives and support attainment of district and regional/business unit performance goals.
  • Develop market, customer, and industry knowledge, along with technical product knowledge.
  • Effectively utilize and manage internal and external resources.
  • Conduct customer/consumer training meetings and support business-building opportunities at conventions and professional associations.
  • Maintain and utilize expert product knowledge and effective selling skills to influence customer support for BIAH promoted products.
  • Implement brand strategies to ensure consistent sales and marketing messages.
  • Apply BIAH Sales Training techniques to facilitate sales.
  • Use CRM tools to create pre-call plans.
  • Keep accurate territory records and communicate effectively with management.
  • Analyze territory data to optimize customer calls and develop annual business plans.
  • Monitor market conditions impacting the business.
  • Achieve sales plans within expense budgets.
  • Complete all sales training requirements successfully.
  • Conduct all business in compliance with regulations and company policies, reporting violations immediately.
  • Maintain high ethical and professional standards to uphold BIAH's reputation.
Requirements
Sales Representative:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • 2-5 years of relevant sales experience or 2+ years as a licensed Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.
  • Experience in animal health or related industries preferred.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge of industry practices and standards.
  • Experience presenting to audiences of various sizes.
  • Strong desire and aptitude to sell and increase market share.
  • Quick learner of technical product knowledge.
  • Key skills: interpersonal, drive, resilience, persuasion, teamwork, organization, communication.
  • Proficiency with PC and mobile applications.
  • Willingness to travel, including overnight stays.
  • Residence in or willingness to relocate to the territory.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
Senior Sales Representative:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • 5+ years of relevant sales experience.
  • Experience in animal health preferred.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Deep understanding of industry practices and standards.
  • Experience presenting to diverse audiences.
  • Strong desire and aptitude for selling.
  • Ability to quickly learn technical product details.
  • Key skills as above.
  • Proficiency with PC and mobile applications.
  • Willingness to travel, including overnight stays.
  • Residence in or willingness to relocate to the territory.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
Eligibility Requirements:
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Willingness to undergo drug testing and physical exams if required.
  • Must be 18 or older.
