About our Team

This position will support the LexisNexis Risk Solutions Government Sales Leadership team with sales analytics. This role will have a data-driven approach to sales performance and forecasting. This role will report to the SVP Sales as an individual contributor.

About the Role

This role will have a data-driven approach to sales performance and forecasting. Responsible for development of analysis, reporting, goaling, and score carding that assesses the effectiveness of sales activity and execution. Reporting to our Government Sales Executive leadership, will work closely with internal teams to ensure the execution of sales initiatives and provide insightful analysis to drive sales performance.

Ideal candidate can be remote in the US, preference for someone who is local to one of our offices for occasional onsite meetings. EST / CST time zones preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzing sales performance and market trends to make informed decisions on sales strategy and tactics including variances vs. budget forecasts
  • Automating existing data reporting and monitoring processes. Review key trends in revenue and customer life cycle. Monitor sales performance through regular reporting to business leaders.
  • Being involved in the annual goaling process. Will work with sales leaders and finance to calculate goaling.
  • Reporting across the business reviewing success and customer feedback. Other reports and presentations as required by leadership
  • Participating in the sales forecasting process and pipeline management, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business goals
  • Supporting internal stakeholders to bridge the gap with performances, lead generation and related sales metrics while maintaining reporting requirements.
  • Providing recommendations to management based on performance data and market trends. Will allow decision making to allocate resources for maximum impact.
  • Developing and maintaining performance metrics and reports to track sales progress. Identify areas for improvement the performance of different sales channels and territories.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales strategy development, forecasting, and performance analysis within a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
  • Be proficient with concepts and processes related to sales forecasting, analytics and planning.
  • Have a bachelor's level education in a relevant field, or equivalent experience
  • Possess significant experience in Sales Planning/Forecasting or a related field
  • Possess skills to take analyze data and define into presentable stories for executive leadership.
  • Deep understanding of market trends, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Be proficient in Salesforce, Aviso, Microsoft Excel and other relevant programs such as Power Bi and SQL
