Job summary

Leica Biosystems, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Histology Consumables Sales Specialist to grow lab consumables revenue and market share across New England (Boston, MA, RI, NH, ME, VT). You will collaborate with Sales, Applications, and Service teams to meet annual targets and deliver exceptional customer service.

Travel 50–75% is required; a valid driver's license and overnight travel may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with 5+ years of sales experience or Master’s with 3+ years.
• Strong time-management, negotiation, and high-level selling skills in a matrixed environment.
• Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Achieve annual product sales goals and maintain an accurate opportunity funnel and customer data in Salesforce.
• Deliver high levels of customer satisfaction through sales support, product demos, installations, and training.
• Work with prospective and current customers to increase Leica Biosystems’ presence across territories.
• Monitor competitive activities and strategies, using Strategic Selling tools (Blue Sheets) with mentorship.
• Develop and present on products, DBS, LBS tools (DOMO, Showpad, Territory Business Reviews).

Job Summary

The Histology Consumables Sales Specialist develops and implements sales strategies to grow laboratory consumables revenue and market share in New England (Boston, MA, RI, NH, ME, VT). • Prior sales experience.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $100,000 – $120,000. Eligible for bonus/incentive pay. Comprehensive benefits include paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) to eligible employees.
