Leica Biosystems—a Danaher operating company—seeks a Histology Consumables Sales Specialist to grow laboratory consumables revenue and market share in New England (Boston, MA, RI, NH, ME, VT). You’ll collaborate with Sales, Applications, and Service to achieve annual targets and deliver excellent customer service.

The role demands strong selling skills, CRM experience (Salesforce), and the ability to travel 50–75%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of sales experience or Master’s with 3+ years.
• Strong time‑management, contract negotiation, and high‑level selling skills in a matrixed environment.
• Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Achieve annual product sales goals and maintain an accurate opportunity funnel and customer data in Salesforce.
• Deliver high levels of customer satisfaction through sales support, product demos, installations, and training.
• Work with prospective and current customers to increase Leica Biosystems’ presence across territories.
• Monitor competitive activities and strategies, using Strategic Selling tools (Blue Sheets) with mentorship.
• Develop and present on products, DBS, LBS tools (DOMO, Showpad, Territory Business Reviews).

Job Summary

The Histology Consumables Sales Specialist develops and implements sales strategies to grow laboratory consumables revenue and market share in New England (Boston, MA, RI, NH, ME, VT). Key Responsibilities

• Achieve annual product sales goals and maintain an accurate opportunity funnel and customer data in Salesforce.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $100,000 – $120,000. Eligible for bonus/incentive pay. Comprehensive benefits include paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) to eligible employees.
