This position reports to

Digital Sales Director, Americas

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to implement the defined digital sales strategy in your specified market scope (global/regional) effectively, to improve ABB's market penetration and realize growth aspirations in the assigned scope. You will execute digital sales strategies and initiatives within your scope to achieve qualitative and quantitative digital sales targets, ensuring sustainable growth in orders, revenue, margin, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction. You will also contribute to expanding the digital customer base.

The work model for this role is: Remote

This role contributes to the Process Automation Process Industries division.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Selling digital solutions to customers, focusing on volume, mix, and profitability targets for the assigned divisions.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships, including with digital stakeholders, to understand customer needs, promote understanding of ABB's full product and service offerings, and align solutions accordingly.
  • Ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
  • Preparing sales plans using ABB authorized tools.

Qualifications for the role
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field required.
  • 8+ years of experience driving digital transformation in complex global organizations, ideally in a B2B environment (Process, Energy, software, technology, automation). Deep understanding of relevant technologies and trends.
  • Experience selling in the industrial software environment; industry exposure (industrial automation, advanced software) preferred; background in growth industries.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Proven track record in customer focus, engaging with top management, consultative selling, and converting opportunities into sales.
  • Experience in digital development for complex global organizations, ideally in B2B sectors.
  • Change management experience is a strong plus.
  • Availability to travel internationally as required.
  • Must already have work authorization to work for ABB in the US.
