Job Description:

  1. To increase the penetration of Automotive Aftermarket Products and exceed the sales forecast for the products in your territory.
  2. To achieve annual sales operating plans.
  3. To drive sales throughout the Transportation Industry by delivering strong head office promotional calendars.
  4. To identify and prioritize market segment and alternative channel opportunities for Automotive Aftermarket Division Products (May include Marine & Commercial Vehicle).
  5. Prepare and execute annual sales plan.
  6. Foster strong relationships with key account contacts at head office level.
  7. Support the execution of plans through AAD distribution network.
  8. To take responsibility for other products/projects as required.
  9. To spend 80% of territory time face to face with the end user customer.
  10. Responsibility for a regional sales territory, which will include overnight travel.

Required Experience/Qualification:

  1. Higher School Certificate or equivalent.
  2. Cert III - Paint Technician or Panel Beater Technician Qualification preferred.
  3. Minimum 2 years in a professional Sales role. Experience in an Industrial Sales role preferred.
  4. Knowledge of Industrial products or terminology an advantage.
  5. Strong selling and key account management skills.
  6. High degree of computer literacy including Microsoft Word, Excel analysis & PowerPoint required.
  7. Strong business acumen and verbal communication skills.
  8. Excellent presentation and listening skills.
  9. High attention to details.
  10. Confident manner with internal team and external customers.
  11. Strong problem solving ability & resourcefully innovative in order to fulfil customers’ requirements.
  12. Strong and consistent recent sales results.
  13. Previous supervisory responsibility preferred, but the passion for development of this ability essential.
