Macha Studiois seeking a part-time Jewelry Specialist to join our team at our new store in the Greenpoint, Brooklyn

We are looking for someone with exceptional customer service skills,superiorsales experience, computer & POS skills, a fast learner with strong attention to detail.

Primary Accountability:

This person must be energetic and enthusiastic, willing to engage customers with a sales minded attitude, and display pride in our store through strong work ethics, organizational skills and cleanliness. This position is responsible for creating and maintaining client lists as well as other administrative duties. The ideal candidate will be flexible and positively respond to customer requests.

Major Duties:

• Client interfacing and sales
• Welcoming clients with a friendly attitude, offering a high standard of customer service by communicating our product information effectively, and assisting clients with purchases efficiently.
• Assist the efforts of all sales floor procedures
• Ensure interior and exterior of store is kept to company standards
• Maintain and build upon client relationships, develop a strong client base and meeting sales goals
• Collecting and tracking customer data.
• Maintain solid communication and feedback relationship with store management
• Maintain team environment with colleagues
• Opening and closing of the store
• Assist in all store operational tasks (inventory, cash protection and loss prevention, overhead and supply costs, and any other tasks that might be required)
• All other additional duties as assigned

Other Responsibilities

• Answer and return calls, texts and customer service related emails.
• Building a strong client database by gathering all clients' information
• Outreach and sell to prospective customers
• Cultivate new and existing customer relationships. Be willing to build a long- term relationship with the client rather than a “one- shot” sell; Delivering a significant portion of sales through repeat client business.
• Appropriately enter all important guest and product information into computer system at point of sale.
• Ensure proper care is taken for all sales, paperwork, receipts and invoices, etc.
• Explaining custom procedure and costs clearly to clients
• Packing and shipping online or requested/sold items via ups or fedex (international)
• Maintain solid communication and feedback relationship with store management and other team members
• Display enthusiasm towards sales and customer service

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Previous sales experience & relevant industry knowledge
• Strong written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Be a clear thinker, analyze and resolve problems exercising good judgment
• Display enthusiasm towards sales and customer service
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift, unpack, carry and move supplies up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work evenings, holidays, and weekends as required
