This Position reports to:

Global Sales Manager

This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Buildings division in the Midwest.

The work model for the role is: remote with the ideal living location being in the Sioux Falls, SD or Minneapolis, MN area. This role is remote (#Li-Remote) with travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships with assigned electrical contractors, at all levels of their organizations.
  • Plan and implement sales strategies to maximize market share and margin; motivate Electrical Contractors to prefer ABB Industrial Solutions over the competition.
  • Educate customer base about differentiating products with technical presentations etc. and meet or exceed assigned volume and margin measurements
  • Identify and track upcoming sales opportunities and influence customer specifications to favor ABB and track sales leads, wins and losses in CRM system (Salesforce); perform analysis on hit-rate data

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university/college or GED with 8+ years sales experience
  • Minimum 5 years sales experience
  • Knowledge and experience quoting and/or selling commercial, industrial and residential projects to electrical contractors
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
