Sales Specialist at Lucid

As a Sales Specialist in a Lucid Studio, your primary focus will be to guide customers on their journey with Lucid as a main point of contact from sales, transaction facilitation, and successful delivery. This role is pivotal in ensuring a seamless and personalized customer experience. Customer Engagement
  • Needs Assessment: Effectively gauge customer needs through personalized interactions and insightful questioning.
  • Product Expertise: Leverage in-depth knowledge of Lucid products to offer tailored solutions.
  • Competitive Landscape: Understand competitor models, pricing, and packages to educate customers on Lucid’s advantages.
  • Customer Relationships: Build and nurture relationships to foster brand loyalty.
  • CRM: Utilize Salesforce to track and manage customer interactions.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain a robust sales pipeline through disciplined practices.
  • Goal-Oriented: Meet and exceed sales targets while delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Test Drives: Conduct test drives and articulate key selling points to ensure an outstanding experience.
Transaction Facilitation (Desking)
  • Manage end-to-end transitions from order to delivery, supporting financing/leasing applications and monitoring application status.
  • Guide customers through the ordering process, including documentation and financial advisement, to ensure a smooth purchase experience.
  • Handle registration and facilitate payments due at signing.
  • Coordinate with Lucid Financial Services and Delivery teams as needed.
  • Assist with daily operations as required.
Communication & Presentation
  • Clear Communication: Use excellent oral and written skills to deliver relevant information.
  • Regular Updates: Maintain communication during the waiting period before delivery.
  • Active Listening: Employ active listening to provide genuinely helpful solutions.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of relevant sales experience, ideally in a commission-based environment with a focus on building and managing customer pipelines.
  • Experience in retail automotive sales and desking is highly preferred.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM tools (Salesforce preferred), and retail business systems.
  • Proven success in achieving sales goals.
  • Passion for electric vehicles and the premium vehicle market.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including active listening and clear articulation.
  • Strong commitment to learning and adaptability.
  • Resilience, perseverance, and long-term goal focus.
  • Understanding of automotive market dynamics and industry trends.
  • Proactive, action-oriented, with excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with peers and customers.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred; high school diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to coordinate test drives and travel for events.
  • Proficiency in English; secondary languages are a plus.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks like standing, twisting, bending, and reaching; valid driver’s license and DMV Salesperson License required.
Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range is $29 to $32, depending on location and other factors. Lucid offers competitive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, vacation, 401k, and potential participation in equity and incentive programs.
