Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Progress sales of Neogen’s natural toxin product line (Mycotoxin products; Veratox/Q+/Q+ MAX) across the USA and Canada, focusing on the milling and grain industry.
  • Serve as one of four key Sales Specialists in the USAC region, increasing market share and wallet share across customer segments.
  • Sell and position Neogen’s Natural Toxin products with key influencers, large multinational accounts, distributors, and sub-distributors.
  • Act as a pre-sale business development and technical subject matter expert, assisting team members on large strategic account projects regionally.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop strong relationships within client organizations at decision-maker and end-user levels; maintain a consistent professional image; ensure high client satisfaction; execute client agreements.
  • Position Natural Toxin products in laboratories, feed/food production environments, and with key accounts.
  • Understand operational impacts of quality systems, metrics, and KPIs relevant to food production and supply chains.
  • Travel up to 75% to present, support, close sales, and coordinate with corporate contacts to drive product adoption and revenue growth.
  • Demonstrate Neogen products through sales and technical resources, emphasizing value and differentiation to achieve profitable growth.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Portfolio Management, Technical Services, and Business Development teams on market trends and competition.
  • Support smaller inside sales accounts, large customers, and key strategic accounts as a key team member.
  • Manage and provide data on new and current customers.
  • Participate in industry associations and trade shows to generate leads; may involve committee participation.
  • Represent Neogen Natural Toxin solutions through presentations at trade shows, training events, and meetings.

Education and/or Experience: College degree in Biochemistry, Food Science, Chemistry, Human/Animal Nutrition, or related fields preferred; equivalent work experience acceptable. Knowledge in carbohydrates or enzymology is advantageous. Certifications like PCQI or HACCP are beneficial.
