All branch employees are scheduled weekly to ensure proper staffing: Monday - Wednesday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM; Thursday - Friday 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM; Saturday 8:30 AM - 1:00 PM.

The Sales & Service Representative (SSR) assists in daily branch operations, including keyholder responsibilities for opening/closing. The SSR acts as a financial consultant to members, providing information about Metro’s products and services, assisting with account openings, resolving issues, and contributing to sales goals through referrals and cross-selling.

Core Responsibilities

1. Process transactions such as check cashing, deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, official checks, and cash advances.
2. Balance daily work within guidelines.
3. Provide information on policies and procedures to members.
4. Perform needs assessments to recommend suitable financial solutions.
5. Verify account opening requirements and security clearances.
6. Conduct consumer loan interviews and assist with loan applications.
7. Participate in sales and referral programs, inform members of new products, and make referrals.
8. Resolve service problems and complaints, ensuring follow-up.
9. Maintain confidentiality of member information.
10. Train on secondary skills such as outbound collections, processing loans, and answering call center inquiries.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: 1+ year banking experience.
• Excellent communication and customer focus skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of computer software and Windows applications.
• Dependability and responsibility.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and use office equipment.
