Job summary

Core-Mark International is seeking a Sales Service Representative to support sales initiatives across Ohio and West Virginia. You will travel to convenience stores and customer locations, executing planograms, performing merchandising tasks, and building strong customer relationships with the Sales Team and Merchandising Manager.

The role emphasizes a disciplined call routine, product display accuracy, and proactive problem solving while traveling within the territory.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements: High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to drive to customer locations using personal transportation.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, reliable vehicle and insurance.
• 1–2 years in a customer service, merchandising or sales role.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a detailed call routine as directed by Merchandising Manager.
• Execute racking planning, resets, plan-o-grams, and merchandising activities.
• Learn and take over merchandising tasks from the Merchandising Manager in 6–9 months.
• Respond promptly to customer needs and concerns.
• Ensure plan-o-gram compliance and proper product display and pricing.
• Assist in learning the Merchandising Manager schedule and covering duties as needed.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Position Summary

As a Sales Service Representative, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our strategic sales initiatives in your assigned sales region in Ohio and West Virginia, collaborating closely with the Merchandising Manager and the Sales Team representative in that area. Your responsibilities will encompass tasks focused on executing our Planograms, store resets, racking planning, racking builds, ensuring compliance with company policies, and providing sales support. You will also be responsible for building strong relationships with customers in the sales accounts and supporting the Sales Team in addressing their needs and concerns. Your professionalism and business execution are critical contributions to driving business forward for our customers, vendors, and ourselves.

Position Responsibilities

• Maintaining a detailed and specific call routine as dictated by the Merchandising Manager.
• Maintenance and execution of the racking planning, racking builds, resets, retags, plan-o-grams, and merchandising activities).
• Learn racking planning and ordering (take over from Merchandising Manager in 6-9 months from hire date)
• Attending customer needs and concerns promptly.
• Ensuring plan-o-gram, marketing best practices, and compliance in stores.
• Ensuring that products are properly displayed, priced, and identified.
• Finding solutions to possible customer challenges with assistance.
• Learn how to do the Merchandising Manager schedule (take from Merchandising Manager in 6-9 months from hire date)
• Performing other tasks and duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, reliable vehicle, and proper valid insurance.
