Job summary

A1 Garage Door is seeking a Sales & Service Consultant who blends consultative sales with hands-on mechanical work. You will meet homeowners, gain trust, recommend the right solution, close the sale, and perform the repair yourself.

No garage door experience is required—we’ll train you. Expect a fast-paced, seven-day work schedule with paid training and strong earning potential through uncapped commissions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year in consultative sales.
• Valid driver’s license (3+ years driving record).
• Ability to lift 75 lbs., bend, climb, kneel, and work in varying temperatures.
• Criminal background check and drug test (THC excluded).
• Reading and basic math skills for measurements and payments.

Responsibilities

• Sell: Meet homeowners on scheduled service calls, build trust, explain options, and close repair or upgrade sales.
• Repair: Replace springs, rollers, motors and other door components; install keypads; wire and adjust equipment.
• Serve: Deliver outstanding customer experience and document each job.
