OVERVIEW

The Sales & Service Manager is a key member of the store leadership team, responsible for executing Alo’s business and guest experience strategies. This role requires passion for sales, guest experience, and team development, with a focus on ensuring an exceptional guest experience. The position involves active movement within the store environment, including the sales floor and back of house, and performing various tasks to maintain a clean, safe, and inviting store.

Sales & Service Leadership
  1. Investigate sales opportunities and partner with the General Manager to address process or system gaps.
  2. Oversee the sales and service team to deliver an outstanding guest experience through connection and product education, providing coaching and feedback.
  3. Build ongoing relationships with customers.
  4. Ensure effective sales floor coverage through workforce planning and sales initiatives.
  5. Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and implement the sales and service strategy.
Business Leadership
  1. Represent the business in meetings and calls alongside the General Manager.
  2. Monitor and manage the store’s budget, reports, and metrics, supporting planning processes.
  3. Plan for future business needs to maintain optimal performance.
People Leadership
  1. Ensure the team embodies Alo’s mission and values, effectively communicating our brand story to guests.
  2. Lead through accountability, coaching, talent development, and communication.
  3. Develop internal and external pipelines through succession planning and recruitment.
  4. Create effective schedules aligned with business needs in partnership with leadership.
Business Partnering
  1. Oversee delivery of key aspects of the Alo Sales and Service Model to ensure operational efficiency.
  2. Work cross-functionally with partners to support organizational goals, aligning with the brand culture.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of retail or related leadership experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong work ethic, time management, and accountability.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move safely within the store environment.
  • Alignment with and embodiment of Alo’s guiding principles.
Schedule & Additional Details

Full-time availability for opening, closing, and weekend shifts is required, including during the holiday season from Thanksgiving through early January.
