OVERVIEW
The Sales & Service Manager is a key member of the store leadership team responsible for executing Alo’s business and guest experience strategies. This role is passionate about achieving sales targets, delivering exceptional guest service, and developing talent aligned with Alo’s values. The role involves active movement around the store, including sales floor and back of house, and taking initiative to maintain a clean, safe, inviting, and efficient environment when not assisting guests.
Sales & Service Leadership Responsibilities
- Investigate and address sales opportunities, collaborating with the General Manager to improve processes or systems.
- Lead the Sales & Service team to deliver an outstanding guest experience through connection and product education, providing coaching and feedback.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers daily.
- Ensure adequate sales floor coverage through workforce planning and sales initiatives.
- Partner with the General Manager to develop and implement the store’s Sales & Service strategy.
Business Leadership Responsibilities
- Represent the store in meetings and calls alongside the General Manager.
- Monitor and manage budgets, reports, and key metrics such as expenses and sales performance, contributing to quarterly planning.
- Plan for future business needs to ensure sustained performance.
People Leadership Responsibilities
- Ensure the team embodies Alo's mission and values, effectively communicating our purpose to guests.
- Lead team through accountability, coaching, talent development, and effective communication.
- Develop internal talent pipelines via succession planning and recruitment strategies.
- Create schedules aligned with business priorities in partnership with management.
Business Partner Responsibilities
- Oversee execution of key deliverables within the Alo Sales and Service Model to maintain operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with and support the General/Store Manager’s vision and cross-functional initiatives.
- Balance organizational needs with brand culture.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years retail or related leadership experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Strong work ethic, time management, and accountability.
- Must be able to move actively within the store, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform physical tasks such as climbing and bending.
Schedule & Availability
Availability for opening, closing, and weekend shifts is required. Must be able to work during the holiday season, including Black Friday and the first week of January.

The base pay ranges from $32.00/hr to $36.06/hr, with eligibility for monthly bonuses. Total rewards include benefits, discounts, and more.
