OVERVIEW

The Sales & Service Manager is a critical member of the store leadership team accountable for bringing Alo’s business and guest experience strategy to life in the store. This individual is passionate about business targets, sales, guest experience, and elevating talent to meet Alo’s values. The role’s main goal is to ensure an exceptional guest experience. Responsibilities include engaging actively with guests, maintaining store cleanliness and safety, and supporting sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Sales & Service Leadership:
    • Investigate sales opportunities and partner with the General Manager to address process or system gaps.
    • Oversee the sales and service team to deliver excellent guest experiences, coach team members, and support sales initiatives.
    • Build and maintain client relationships daily.
    • Ensure effective coverage on the sales floor through workforce planning.
    • Collaborate with the General Manager on sales and service strategies and their implementation.
  2. Business Leadership:
    • Participate in meetings and conference calls with the General Manager.
    • Assist in managing budgets, reporting, and business metrics such as expenses and sales performance.
    • Plan for future business needs to maintain optimal performance.
  3. People Leadership:
    • Lead the team to embody Alo's mission and principles, communicate effectively, and develop talent.
    • Plan internal and external talent pipelines through succession planning and recruitment.
    • Create effective schedules aligned with business needs in partnership with the store leadership.
  4. Business Partnering:
    • Execute deliverables related to the Alo Sales and Service Model, ensuring operational efficiency.
    • Work cross-functionally with business partners to support organizational goals.
    • Navigate organizational structure balancing business needs with brand culture.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of retail or related industry leadership experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong work ethic, time management, and personal accountability.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, climbing, and standing for long periods.
Schedule & Additional Details

Full-time employees are expected to be available for opening, closing, and weekend shifts, including during the holiday season from Thanksgiving through early January.
