Overview

The Sales & Service Manager is a vital part of the store leadership team, responsible for implementing Alo’s business and guest experience strategies. This role focuses on achieving sales targets, enhancing guest experiences, and developing talent aligned with Alo’s values. The position involves active movement within the store to assist guests and maintain a clean, safe, and inviting environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Sales & Service team to deliver exceptional guest experiences through coaching and assessment.
  • Build and maintain client relationships daily.
  • Ensure effective sales floor coverage and execute selling initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and implement sales strategies.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Participate in business meetings and review financial and operational data.
  • Manage budgets, expenses, and sales metrics in partnership with the General Manager.
  • Plan for future business needs to ensure optimal performance.
People Leadership
  • Model Alo’s mission and principles to the team and guests.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, develop talent, and foster effective communication.
  • Plan succession and recruitment strategies.
  • Create schedules aligned with business needs.
Partnership and Collaboration
  • Support the execution of the Alo Sales and Service Model.
  • Work cross-functionally with business partners and leadership.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years retail or related industry leadership experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Physical ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds, and perform other physical tasks as needed.
Schedule and Availability

Full-time employees should be available for opening, closing, and weekend shifts, including during the holiday season from Thanksgiving through early January.
