OVERVIEW

The Sales & Service Lead is integral to elevating the guest experience at Alo Yoga. They will ensure we deliver our targets for engagement, guest education and interaction, create a service-led environment on the sales floor, and ultimately create a sanctuary that sets Alo apart from other retailers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead an exceptional guest experience on the floor through assessing the level of guest connection and technical product education and supporting team members to address gaps through feedback and coaching.
  • Build and maintain client relationships daily with our customers.
  • Analyze reports to strategize and deliver results; support the implementation of action plans focusing on areas needing improvement and highlight growth opportunities.
  • Ensure effective sales floor coverage through workforce solutions and lead selling initiatives as needed.

Business Leadership

  • Partner with Operations & Visual Manager to manage reporting, budgets, expenses, inventory control, supplies, vendor relationships, technology, and facilities to ensure they are maintained and optimized.
  • Leverage metrics to support business-driving strategies.
  • Assess and fulfill the needs of the business, team, and guests dynamically on the retail floor.

People Leadership

  • Lead by example and inspire staff in daily operations and guest experience.
  • Oversee the Sales & Service Associates and Cashiers; responsible for recruitment and talent development.
  • Use performance tools to evaluate staff and provide feedback for growth, in partnership with the store leader.

Business Partnership

  • Collaborate with Community & Studio, Operations, and Visual Leads for cross-functional training and business execution.
  • Implement company directives, projects, and initiatives with the Sales & Service Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 2 years of experience in a client-centric sales environment.
  • Proven leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Receptive to feedback and eager to give it.
  • High energy, enthusiasm, and ability to foster a fun work environment.
  • Self-motivated with results-driven mindset.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Alignment with Alo’s guiding principles.
  • Job Level: Associate

This full-time role requires 32-40 hours per week, including variable shifts, peak days, weekends, and during the Blackout period from Thanksgiving through early January.
