Job summary

Prairie Farms Dairy in Crestwood, IL is seeking a Full-time Operative to provide excellent service to assigned accounts, manage inventory, merchandise shelves, and safely drive and unload the truck.

Must hold a Class A or B CDL, be able to lift 50-100 pounds, work outdoors in all weather, and handle handheld computer tasks, money collection, and deposits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 21 years or older; clean driving record.
• Pass the drug test and background check.
• Ability to load and unload 50–100 pounds of product.
• Willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Operate handheld computer and handle payments and deposits.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to assigned accounts and maintain goodwill with customers.
• Utilize point-of-purchase materials to stimulate sales.
• Manage inventory to minimize out-of-code product and place orders for next delivery.

Job Description

Successful Applicant will

• Provide excellent service to assigned accounts; create and maintain goodwill with all customers
• Utilize point-of-purchase materials to stimulate sales
• Manage the inventory to minimize out of code product and place orders for next delivery
• Merchandise product sections, maintain and increase shelf facings, clean shelving and rotate product
• Safely drive and unload the truck, and move the product to the appropriate locations
• Class A or B CDL (Commercial Drivers Licence) is required

Requirements to become a member of our team:

• Documentation of a high school diploma or completed GED, 21 years or older, Clean driving record, Pass the drug test, Pass the background check.
• Ability to load and unload 50-100 pounds of product
• Willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions including heavy rains, winter snow, and summer heat, while moving product to/from the truck to the store
• Use hand held computer, collect money from customers and make bank deposits

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience Managing inventory
• Direct Store Delivery (DSD) experience
