Moody's Corporation in New York is launching the Moody’s Sales Rotation Program, a two-year, early-careers track designed to develop client-facing professionals through structured rotations across Sales Development, Client Support, Marketing, and Sales Operations.

Participants will gain hands-on experience, mentorship, and regular feedback while exploring AI tools to improve workflows and customer experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Develop commercial and client-facing skills through rotations across key sales and customer-focused functions.
  • Participants will complete up to three eight-month rotations across Sales Development, Client Support, Marketing, and Sales Operations.
  • Support contracting activities for renewals and new business by assessing business needs, preparing documentation, and confirming alignment with client requirements and organizational standards
  • Coordinate responses to requests for proposals by gathering relevant information from multiple teams and supporting timely, accurate submissions
  • Manage client service inquiries through phone, email, and chat in a courteous, professional, accurate, and timely manner
  • Build effective working relationships with colleagues across Customer Engagement, Sales, Product Management, Data, Research, and other business functions
  • Support marketing events and campaigns, create customer-facing communications, and generate reports and analytics that inform marketing insights
  • Conduct prospect and account research, lead outreach campaigns, identify new contacts, and develop an understanding of customer needs
  • Qualify prospective opportunities and direct leads to the appropriate sales professionals for continued development

  • Availability to start as part of the July 2027 cohort
Responsibilities

About The Team

The Moody’s Sales Rotation Program is a two-year early-careers program designed to develop well-rounded, client-facing professionals through structured rotations, on-the-job learning, mentorship, and regular feedback. Associates join a cohort in New York or London and gain exposure to Sales Development, Client Support, Marketing, and Sales Operations while building an understanding of Moody’s data, products, processes, and customers. The team values collaboration, curiosity, integrity, and measurable results and encourages participants to explore how artificial intelligence and other digital tools can responsibly improve workflows, efficiency, and the customer experience. Upon successful completion of the program, participants may be considered for placement within Moody’s commercial organization based on business needs and individual preferences.

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary for this position is $76,000, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody’s also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
