Position Overview

The Sales Representative for Radiometer is responsible for acquiring specialized knowledge and sales skills, and contributing to the company's performance and society by achieving customer satisfaction.

This position is part of the sales team located in Hokkaido and will be remote. At Radiometer, our vision is to improve global healthcare with reliable, fast, and easy patient diagnoses.

You will be part of the sales team for the Hokkaido area and report to the sales manager responsible for this region. If you thrive in a high social contribution role and want to build a world-class sales organization—read on.

Responsibilities
  • Propose comprehensive solutions to address customer challenges
  • Manage the entire sales process within the assigned area (develop and execute sales strategies)
  • Plan and execute various events in collaboration with the marketing department (seminars, training, conference exhibitions)
  • Provide after-sales support (product and data inquiries, primary repair support)
Required Skills and Experience
  • Graduate of technical college or higher
  • At least 1 year of sales experience
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Interest in understanding equipment mechanisms and acquiring technical knowledge and skills
Language Skills
  • Japanese: Native level
  • English: Not required
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Experience in tangible sales at a manufacturer
  • Experience in medical industry sales
  • Science or engineering background

Employment Conditions

Company: Radiometer Japan

Employment Type: Full-time, with a 3-month probation period

Location: Kita-ku, Sapporo

Working Hours: Flexible hours, core time not specified, standard hours 9:00–17:30

Holidays: Two days off per week (Sat, Sun), national holidays, summer (5 days), New Year (Dec 29-Jan 4)

Additional Leave: Special leave for life events, condolence leave, long service leave, volunteer leave, accumulated leave

Paid Leave: Granted on employment start date (10 days for Jan-Jun hires, 5 days for Jul-Dec hires)

Salary Range

Monthly salary: ¥342,184–¥473,959

Basic salary: ¥293,300–¥406,250

Fixed overtime allowance: ¥48,884–¥67,709

Estimated annual income: ¥5.27–¥7.31 million (including 4 months fixed bonus)

Performance bonus: ¥460,000–¥1,300,000 (based on company and individual performance)
