Position
Sales Representative‑WA – Manage the full sales process while providing excellent customer service, continually sourcing new customers, helping customers design their dream home, and ensuring a smooth transaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Effectively communicate D.R. Horton’s value proposition, product vision, and capabilities to potential customers.
- Uncover and understand customer goals and challenges, establishing D.R. Horton as the best solution.
- Overcome objections and close sales.
- Maintain accurate documentation of transactions from sale through loan, options, and construction.
- Continuously source new sales opportunities.
- Create and present a marketing plan to management for establishing new customer relationships.
- Network and perform outreach to realtors.
- Manage time efficiently, meet sales goals, and work effectively with team members.
- Maintain and expand a database of prospects.
- Attend sales meetings.
- Develop and maintain rapport with prospective customers, realtors, and team members.
- Execute policies to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the company’s goodwill and profit.
- Ability to work overtime.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or 2 years of related experience.
- Active real estate license is required.
- Ability to use D.R. Horton sales applications on a smartphone, tablet, or laptop.
- Apply common sense to carry out instructions written, oral, or via D.R. Horton applications.
- Proficiency with MS Office and email.
- Physical requirements: stand and walk for 4 hours straight or up to an 8‑hour day; sit, kneel, bend, walk up/down stairs, walk on uneven terrain; use hands for handling, reaching, talking, hearing; lift or move up to 25 pounds; vision requirements include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision.
- Regular exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
- Noise level is generally moderate.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior CRM software experience.
- Previous sales experience and industry knowledge preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal communications.
- Strongly motivated.

Compensation
Salary $17.13/hr plus commissions.
