Job description

Job Description:

  • Responsible for growth and expansion of direct sales and profit margins within assigned accounts and/or territory/region on products or services.

  • Establishes professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts.

  • Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and margin dollars.

Job Requirements:

  • A minimum of three years of achievement-oriented sales experience in the dental field, or more experience in the medical device field.

  • Strong communication and selling skills.

  • Strong organization and planning capabilities (business planning, sales planning, forecasting, etc).

  • Cold-call and prospecting capabilities.

  • Strong problem-solving attitude.

  • Able to work well with peers and across functions.

  • Intermediate computer skills (Office package, iPad/tablet and any other company communication tools).

  • Able to work under pressure.

  • Able to independently plan and organize the activities of the territory based on the manager's direction, market requirements and customer needs.

  • Proficiency in Dutch and English.

  • Experience in using a CRM system is strongly preferred.

  • Able to lead by example.

Weekly Time Allocation guidelines:

  • ½ day office

  • Five visits per day (individual and dual visits)

  • 50% existing customers

  • 50% prospective customers

  • Follow CVM recommendations on the number of visits for each customer segment.
