Wayfinder Beer is seeking two Sales Representatives to drive self-distribution in Washington, Multnomah, and Clark counties. The role requires a strong sales mindset, a clean driving record, and a passion for craft beer. Expect full-time hours with occasional overtime in a collaborative team.

You’ll be responsible for expanding accounts, planning events, and meeting sales targets while representing Wayfinder’s brand and values.

Wayfinder is a vaguely sinister, lager-centric brewery located in the Central Eastside Industrial District of Portland, Oregon and is committed to making compelling and clean lagers and ales.

We are looking for two new Sales Representatives who can represent Wayfinder and drive sales within our self distribution territory. Ideal candidates will have a sparkling clean driving record, be outgoing with a positive attitude and an interest in craft beer. We’re a small, collaborative team and will be looking to hire on personality and willingness to learn and contribute. The position is full time 40 hours a week, with occasional overtime.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Live, breathe, eat, sleep, fight for Wayfinder’s epic family of beers
• Through the power of sales wizardry and black magic, make our existing accounts want to buy more of our beer
• Solicit new business from wholesale accounts
• Act as a point of contact for full account base in our self-distributed territory: Washington, Multnomah, and Clark Counties (WA)
• Planning and attending events, including demos, festivals, and dinners
• Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual goals
• Assist in forecasting and inventory management
• Identify, develop and execute sales initiatives and opportunities
• Regularly provide updates to management and team (we communicate through the art of dance)
• Demonstrate in-depth understanding of Wayfinder Beer’s brand, ethos, and values
• Maintain clear and consistent communication to ensure goals and deadlines are met
• Work occasional odd hours, including late nights and weekends
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Requires 2+ years of craft beverage or food sales experience along with solid working knowledge of the beer and brewing industry
• Must be able to follow and keep up with industry and account trends
• Organized and detail oriented; accurate record keeping skills
• Oregon Driver’s license and clean driving record. Drive like Hell!...but safely and legally
• Customer service and positive attitude! You’ll be face to face with our retail customers (bar and restaurant owners & buyers) on a daily basis
• Must be self-motivated, trustworthy and have the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with limited direction or supervision
• Willingness to work flexible and extended hours (including occasional evenings and weekends)
• Must be 21 years of age or older with a valid OLCC permit or willingness to get one
• Preferred experience with Ekos
• Can’t be alarmed by random “hail satan” chants

Physical Requirements:

• Lift 26 lbs. from ground to shoulder high
• Lift 75 lbs. from ground to waist high
• Moving 150 lbs. along the floor, removed from a truck and maneuvered with a hand truck
• Climb stairs, ramps, and ladders
• Work in small, cold, and cramped spaces
• Work in occasionally loud environments
