Job Description

Sells the organization's products and services within an assigned geographic area, product range, or list of new & existing customer accounts to meet sales targets. Develop revenue through sales leads, prospect calls, and building ongoing rapport with customers. Responsible for increasing sales/client ratio and expanding the customer base.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and research new customer and project opportunities; identify decision makers.
  • Conduct discovery meetings to identify revenue opportunities, make recommendations, and determine next steps.
  • Create business plans for each account.
  • Prepare proposals and quotations for clients.
  • Understand client needs and offer suitable business solutions.
  • Recommend additional solutions and services to clients.
  • Develop sales skills and product knowledge by working with experienced sales staff.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to meet deliverables.
  • Provide excellent customer service throughout the sales process.
  • Maintain accurate forecasts and records in Salesforce.com.
  • Perform other duties and participate in projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or completion of Sales Associate Development Program with 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Strong business acumen, motivation, competitiveness, customer focus, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and identify trends.
  • Knowledge of the sales cycle and ability to make cold calls.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective communication with diverse groups.
  • Willingness to learn about RRD's products and services.
  • Good problem-solving skills and application of proven solutions.
  • Timely and accurate delivery of outcomes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, MAC, or other technical tools; knowledge of Salesforce.com preferred. Valid Driver's License required.

Additional Information

For the first 6 months, a non-recoverable draw is expected to be between $50,000 - $150,000 annually; thereafter, it may decrease or change. This is a 100% commission role with unlimited earning potential. Compensation varies based on education, skills, experience, and location. Benefits include health coverage, paid time off, 401(k), insurance, parental leave, tuition assistance, and discounts.
