Bunzl Distribution is seeking an Outside Sales Representative for the Metro New York territory. You will drive new business and manage existing distributor accounts in a field-based B2B role, promoting disposable products, packaging and safety lines.
Responsibilities include establishing pricing, forecasting, and building strong distributor relationships. Travel within the territory and collaboration with internal teams are required for success.
Pay or shift range: $65,000 USD to $125,000 USD
The salary range is based on a variety of factors, including experience, education, certifications and geographic location.
As an outside Sales Representative for Bunzl Distribution’s R3 organization, you will be accountable for meeting and exceeding sales targets across the Metro New York geography. This is a field-based, customer-facing, territory sales role focused on both account management (existing accounts) and new business development (prospecting) in a B2B distribution sales environment.
Bunzl's product mix includes a variety of disposable products including paper products, to-go containers & packaging, janitorial supplies, safety, sanitation, and other food service items. As part of our Redistribution/R3 segment, you will support a customer base of national, regional and local broadline distributors that sell our products to hotels, restaurants, entertainment venues and resorts.
You will work with external broadline food distributors and their customers, acting as a non-food specialist to drive sales growth through a variety of disposable food service products. These items include paper and plastic products, to-go packaging, janitorial supplies and other food service items. Your distributor customers will be selling disposable products to restaurants, hotels, resorts, and other institutional establishments. The ideal candidate is committed to continuous improvement, sales growth, partnership with distributor customers, and results achievement.
In addition to serving as a new business development partner for local and regional food distributors, you will build customer relationships, handle customer complaints and inquiries, support Accounts Receivable, and effectively communicate with all appropriate internal departments and support personnel.
