J.J. Taylor Distributing, Florida Inc. is seeking a self-motivated Sales Representative to promote, restock, rotate, and sell beer and beverages on assigned routes.

You will support volume and distribution goals through preplanned calls and product ordering, while presenting new products and maintaining up-to-date knowledge. The role requires a high school diploma or GED (2-3 years sales experience preferred) and a valid Florida Class E license with appropriate auto insurance.

• Presents and provides sampling of new products; maintains product knowledge.

Work Schedule: Full-time; Monday-Friday, approximate 5:00AM start time

Required License: Valid Class E FL license and ability to maintain $100,00 - $300,00 private passenger auto insurance with designated business usage.

Sales Representative Pay: Commission-based, expected salary ranges $45,000 - $50,000 + bonus opportunity.

401K: 60% matching up to 10% of salary.

General Summary:

Our sales representatives promote, restock, rotate, and sell beer and other beverages to assigned sales route accounts in order to meet the company's objectives for volume and distribution. They make preplanned sales called and assist in tracking, auditing, and ordering product for our company.

Location: Arcadia / Wauchula/ Lake Placid, Florida

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Runs sales routes completing inventories with company issued handheld.
• Has a clear understanding of all current pricing and quantity deals for package and draft.
• Presents and provides sampling of new products in the area. Maintains necessary product knowledge.
• Works on projects, special events, promotions, and all other requests the Sales Manager assigns, including working occasional nights and weekends.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 2-3 yrs previous sales experience preferred.

The physical demands here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully preform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Must use own means of transportaion (i.e. Vehicle) in order to service customer accounts/ venues.

• Must be able to regularly unload product (case of beer) from delivery vehicle and transport into customer accounts. Product averages 30 lbs. but can weigh up to a maximum of 49 lbs.

• Retail store environment
• Regular exposure to extreme temperatures, outside weather conditions, including wet and/or humid conditions, and risk of electrical shock.
• Occasional exposure to fumes, high places, and loud noise.
