Our organization, a leading player in the Engineering industry, is seeking a dynamic and motivated Permanent Sales Representative for our North Carolina territory. This position is a remote role, offering the flexibility to work from home while still being an integral part of our ambitious and innovative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, a passion for the engineering field, and a drive to exceed sales targets.
Responsibilities
As a Permanent Sales Representative, you will play a key role in driving our business forward. Your responsibilities will include
- Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to drive sales growth in the assigned territory.
- Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key customers, identifying their needs and challenges, and providing solutions that promote our products and services.
- Utilizing Salesforce to track sales activities, customer interactions, and forecast future sales.
- Representing the company at trade shows and other industry events to increase brand awareness and generate leads.
- Collaborating with internal teams including product development and marketing to ensure customer needs are met and to stay informed about new products and services.
- Preparing and delivering sales presentations to potential clients, highlighting the benefits and features of our engineering solutions.
- Providing detailed reports on sales activities, sales forecasts, and market trends to senior management.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of sales experience, preferably in the engineering industry.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Salesforce.
- Experience in representing companies at trade shows and other industry events.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- A self-motivated and results-driven approach, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
- The ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about customer needs and sales strategies.
