TK Elevator is currently seeking an experienced Sales Representative - New Installation in Boston, MA.

This role is responsible for successfully bidding and securing new installation sales contracts, developing and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers to ensure new installation jobs are completed profitably, and helping the branch or district meet annual revenue goals.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Coordinate with architects, general contractors, building managers, and/or owners during the pre-bidding of new installation projects. This includes building strong customer relationships and maintaining market awareness of projects and competitors within the assigned territory.
  • Create quoting and bidding packages by reviewing blueprints of proposed new constructions, specifications, and labor requirements with the operations department to ensure completeness, accuracy, and profitability.
  • Present bids to customers, explaining cost factors and emphasizing features such as construction, performance, durability, and appearance of equipment.
  • Follow up with customers on all proposals.
  • Coordinate submittal packages through approval processes upon customer acceptance and create change orders as needed.
  • Visit project sites when necessary and work with the operations department to meet customer needs and deadlines.
  • Maintain strong familiarity with company products by attending training sessions and reviewing factory updates and supplier information.
Who we are looking for

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 1-2 years of sales experience or training required; candidates with 3+ years of elevator sales experience are preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and blueprint drawings.
