Purpose

The Sales Representative role is responsible for managing and growing territory sales, current accounts, identifying new accounts, and demonstrating knowledge in all aspects of customer relationships including resin needs, end uses, credit, logistics, inventory, and the MHC value proposition.

Areas of Responsibility / Tasks

Area of Focus (in order of priority):

  • Maintain assigned accounts and manage for profitable growth
  • Coordinate internal support for accounts
  • Maintain a pipeline of prospective customers
  • Provide forecasting information for budgeting and planning
  • Support quoting process with accurate customer requirements
  • Collaborate on pricing decisions
  • Negotiate to maximize profit margins
  • Complete administrative duties timely
  • Support corporate and business development projects
  • Represent the company at trade events
  • Foster positive relationships with suppliers
  • Participate in training and development programs
  • Nurture a strong industry network
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSA)
