What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Sell implantable devices for specific therapies to physicians and medical staff
  • Develop and maintain relationships with strategic implanting centers and referral networks
  • Generate new sales by developing leads and recruiting new surgeons
  • Implement approved marketing strategies and respond to customer needs
  • Prepare and submit call reports, maintaining accurate customer records
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of sales experience, with 3 of those years in medical sales; or
  • Bachelor's Degree plus 3 years of relevant clinical experience with Medtronic, along with 2 years of additional prior sales or clinical experience
  • Valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy
  • Ability to travel to customer clinics, hospitals, and offsite meetings
  • Strong understanding of quality policy/system items applicable to the role
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Experience calling on physicians in Neurology, Physiatry, Oncology, or Primary Care
  • Knowledge of the reimbursement climate and therapy development
  • Familiarity with operating room environments and implantable devices
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Proven leadership abilities and experience in consultative sales
