Job summary

Performance Foodservice in Gulf Shores, AL is seeking an Area Manager to lead a geographic sales territory, build independent and regional account business, and ensure sales and profit objectives are met.

You will regularly call on customers, develop and execute business plans, and manage time and resources to deliver results. Extensive local travel is required, with emphasis on pricing and customer service.

This role offers a hands-on leadership path within a national foodservice organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2 years of industry related experience or a culinary school degree considered equivalent.
• Outside sales experience in a fast paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written presentation skills, organizational and time management skills, strong desire to build new business, strong work ethic and attention to details, excellent customer service skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Position requires extensive local travel; valid driver’s license and clean MVR with dependable transportation.
• Infrequent lifting of 25 – 30 pounds may be required.
• This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.
