Position Overview

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Sales Representative (DE/PA)-IS. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage the sales process while delivering excellent customer service. The Sales Representative will source new customers, assist them in finding and designing their dream home, and ensure a smooth sales experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Communicate DR Horton’s value proposition, product vision, and capabilities effectively to potential customers.
  • Understand customer goals and challenges, positioning DR Horton as the best solution.
  • Overcome objections and close sales.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of transactions from sale through loan, options, and construction.
  • Continuously source new sales opportunities.
  • Create and present marketing plans to management for establishing new customer relationships.
  • Network and perform outreach to realtors.
  • Manage time efficiently, meet sales goals, and collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Maintain and expand the database of prospects.
  • Attend sales meetings regularly.
  • Develop and sustain good rapport with prospective customers, realtors, and team members.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards through policy execution.
  • Conduct all business professionally and ethically to serve customers and enhance company goodwill and profitability.
  • Be available to work overtime as needed.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
  • Associate Degree or 2 years of related experience.
  • Must own a vehicle, possess a valid driver’s license, and be able to drive during day and night.
  • Ability to use DRH Sales applications on smartphones, tablets, or laptops.
  • Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or application form.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and email communication.
  • Physical ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours, with capability to kneel, bend, climb stairs, walk on uneven terrain, and lift/move up to 25 pounds. Vision abilities required include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision.
  • Exposure to outdoor weather conditions and moderate noise levels.
Preferred Qualifications
  • State-specific licensing requirements.
  • Experience with CRM software.
  • Previous sales experience, preferably in the industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly motivated.
