Job Description
Our growth and expansion efforts create an exceptional opportunity for an experienced sales professional to join our team. This role requires proven success in selling sophisticated software solutions to Financial Services firms aiming to upgrade legacy systems within the Life Insurance and Annuity sector, covering individual policies, voluntary benefits, and institutional annuity markets.
Responsibilities
- Act as a primary advocate and challenge prospects and customers by using FAST’s trusted methods and strategies, addressing customers and prospects reliance on outdated technology and implementation practices.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing, utilizing CRM tools to track progress, forecast sales, and report key metrics.
- Understand client needs and challenges, and present tailored SaaS solutions that align with their business objectives, focusing on streamlining operations, improving customer experience, and optimizing claims/underwriting processes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers including C-level executives, underwriters, and IT departments in insurance companies.
- Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and deal structuring in collaboration with internal legal and finance teams.
- Ensure a seamless transition from sale to implementation by collaborating with enablement and customer success teams.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements in the Life Insurance and Annuity space to position solutions effectively.
- Attend conferences and industry-specific events.
- Prepare responses to sales RFPs and create proposal documents as part of formal bidding processes.
- Cultivate existing accounts while seeking new opportunities.
- Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, promotions, advertising, sales, business administration, or related fields; a Master’s or MBA is desirable. At least ten years of software sales experience with recognized Life & Annuity providers is required.
- Proven sales acumen with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets, especially in closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience closing sales to C-Level executives in Life and Annuity sectors.
- Ability to manage and drive the full Sales Lifecycle.
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
- Excellent self-management and prioritization skills.
- Executive presence and background in consultative sales methodologies such as Solution Selling or Challenger Sales.
