Job summary

International Wines & Craft Beer is seeking a driven sales professional to service accounts within a defined territory. You will work toward department goals, submit orders daily, and build strong relationships with customers.

Key responsibilities include attending tastings and trade shows, merchandising deliveries, and promoting brand knowledge. Candidates should have strong communication, organization, and willingness to learn about wines and craft beers.

Qualifications

• Sales skills including closing, prospecting, negotiation, and territory management.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations and develop relationships quickly.
• Willingness to learn and be trained on brands and selling techniques.
• Superior organizational skills.
• High self-motivation.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with computer programs such as Microsoft Office Suite.
• Previous sales or industry experience preferred but not required.
• Wine and craft beer knowledge preferred but not required.
• Must be 21 years or older.

• Merchandise orders after they are delivered

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Well-developed sales skills including closing, prospecting, negotiation, and territory management
• Ability to survey the local landscape for business opportunities, travel to customer locations for face-to-face contact, and develop relationships quickly
• A willingness to learn and be trained on brands and selling techniques
• Superior organizational skills
• High-self motivation
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with computer programs such as the Microsoft Office Suite
• Previous sales or industry experience preferred but not required

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions

• Able to lift 50 pounds on a consistent basis
• Have reliable transportation
• A drug screen, background and DMV/Driving Record check is required
• Position is salary-based with bonus potential
• Primary hours are Monday – Friday, 7am – 4pm; occasional weekends/nights required
