Job summary

United Ag & Turf is seeking a sales professional to represent the dealership in selling new and used agricultural, compact construction, and turf equipment across Texas. You will maintain product knowledge, engage customers, and support events and demonstrations.

The role requires strong communication, a customer-focused approach, and ability to work with financing options to close deals. Prior equipment sales experience is a plus, and flexibility for field activities is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• Experience in equipment sales preferred but not required.

United Ag & Turf serves customers in a variety of industries such as commercial, construction, agricultural, as well as, consumers. Purpose:

Sells new and used agricultural, compact construction, and turf equipment to new and existing customers.

Responsibilities

The following are essential functions of this position:

• Represents the company for the sale of machinery to customers in a defined sales area
• Maintains current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment potentially saleable by the dealership
• Monitors competitive activity/products and timely communicates to management, accordingly
• Maintains all customer information in assigned territory for sales management
• Knows and follows a defined sales process
• Assists with the preparation and execution of customer events
• Conducts new equipment field demonstrations
• Monitors trends in customer’s business activities and timely communicates to management
• Maintains current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods
• Attends applicable sales training events/seminars
• May maintain current knowledge of used equipment values and ability to evaluate properly for trading purposes

Requirements

Required Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience.
• Excellent communication skills.

Preferred Education, Experience and Requirements

• One- year prior equipment sales experience.
• Knowledge of commercial equipment.
• Ability to use standard desktop load functions such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
• Ability to work flexible hours
• Excellent customer relationship skills
• Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports
