Job Description

Sales Representative – Marble and Tile

A growing, prestigious, and well-established company needs your sales and service expertise to contribute to the strategic development of this organization. Specializing in tiles, marble, countertop design with a showroom and fabrication shop.

Responsibilities

• Develop sales with retail and existing customers
• Approach incoming customers and greet them appropriately
• Cheerfully answer and properly direct all incoming communications
• Schedule, confirm, cancel and reschedule appointments
• Preparation of correspondence and other paperwork
• Showroom organization and management
• Putting together mailers and other marketing materials
• Create and maintain a dynamic and vibrant office environment that represents that the Customer is the number one priority
• Entering customer information into database and Excel
• Daily use of experience and judgment to plan and accomplish a variety of administrative and customer service responsibilities
• Other functions as directed by the Owner

Compensation

Base Salary and Commission

Essential Qualifications

• Proven Sales abilities with experience in tile, marble, countertops and granite is highly desired
• Experience with a fabrication design shop is preferred
• Administrative abilities as they relate to organization, time-management, and efficient operations
• Verifiable experience with Microsoft Office Suite is required
• Exceptionally pleasant phone and customer service skills
• Good writing and oral communication skills
• Must have related experience in busy professional environments
• Must be able to lift and move around 50Lbs
• Some Design and layout experience is a plus
• Highschool Diploma, GED is required
• Trade or Design School is preferred
