Job summary

Crown Equipment Corporation, a leading lift truck manufacturer, is seeking an Outside Sales professional for a U.S. Ohio territory. The role focuses on selling select products, cultivating accounts, and generating leads while collaborating with internal teams and participating in local campaigns.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma and a valid driver's license; a Bachelor's degree is a plus. The position emphasizes strong communication, organization, and willingness to work

Qualifications

• Less than 2 years related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and the ability to safely operate lift trucks for product demos.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, entrepreneurship, professional selling, or related business program is a plus.
• Strong communication, organizational, time management, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Sell select products in a geographical territory and/or assigned accounts.
• May work in a team approach and assist other sales positions with territory management and communication.
• Participate in corporate and local campaigns.
• Make sales calls to qualify prospects in person and over the telephone; generate leads.
• Involvement in information gathering efforts and tracking/follow-up of leads and inquiries.
• Collaborate with various departments within the branch.

Job Duties

• Sell select products in a geographical territory and/or assigned accounts.
• May work in a team approach and assist other sales positions with territory management and communication.
• Participate in corporate and local campaigns.
• Make sales calls to qualify prospects in person and over the telephone. Generate leads. Involvement in information gathering efforts and/or tracking and follow-up of leads and inquiries.
• Participate in training activities locally, in the field, and occasionally at the New Bremen, Ohio corporate headquarters.
• Collaborate with various departments within the branch.

Minimum Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing, entrepreneurship, professional selling, or related business program is a plus.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities, strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation, and ability to work in a team environment.
• Intermediate computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability and willingness to work outside normal business hours to prepare for sales activities
