Job summary

Tri-State Bobcat is seeking a Sales Representative to grow an assigned territory, helping customers select the right equipment. You will work with contractors, business owners, and equipment users while representing industry-leading compact construction equipment.

You'll build relationships, grow accounts, and guide customers from first contact to delivery. If you are competitive and self-motivated, we'd like to meet you.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in equipment or related sales preferred.
• Strong communication and consultative selling skills.
• Ability to travel locally with limited out-of-state travel.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow an assigned sales territory through visits, dealership activity, prospecting, and follow-up.
• Build long-term customer relationships and develop new business through consultative selling and outreach.
• Manage the sales process from initial contact through demonstrations, proposals, financing, and delivery.
• Collaborate with leadership, marketing, and internal teams to follow up on opportunities and ensure a strong customer experience.
• Represent Tri-State Bobcat at customer events and trade shows.

Tri-State Bobcat is looking for a Sales Representative to grow an assigned territory and help customers find the right equipment for their business. You'll work with contractors, business owners, and equipment users while representing industry-leading compact construction equipment.

You'll build new relationships, grow existing accounts, and guide customers through the buying process from the first conversation through delivery.

What You'll Do

• Manage and grow an assigned sales territory through a combination of job-site visits, dealership activity, outbound prospecting, and consistent follow-up
• Build long-term customer relationships and develop new business through consultative selling, phone and email outreach, referrals, and in-person meetings
• Manage the sales process from initial contact through demonstrations, proposals, financing, purchase agreements, and delivery
• Collaborate with sales leadership, marketing, and internal teams to follow up on opportunities, support equipment deliveries, and ensure a strong customer experience
• Represent Tri-State Bobcat at customer events, trade shows, and industry activities

Equipment sales experience isn't required. Experience in outside sales, business development, construction, equipment, automotive, industrial sales, or another relationship-driven sales environment is valuable.

We're looking for:

• A proven ability to build relationships and develop new business
• 3+ years of equipment, construction, heavy equipment, industrial, or related sales experience preferred
• Strong communication and consultative selling skills
• Ability to manage your time, territory, and follow-up independently
• Comfort working in the field and from the dealership
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to travel locally, with limited out-of-state travel
