Job summary

Georgia Lottery Corporation is seeking a results-driven sales professional to maximize retailer partnerships and promote lottery products across the state.

You will train retailers, educate players on brand and programs, and manage regular retailer visits to meet sales targets while adhering to company policies. Evening/weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or marketing preferred.
• Three or more years of sales promotion/merchandising experience.
• Valid Georgia driver's license with clean DMV record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle materials.
• Some evening and weekend work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Train retailers on lottery products, equipment and services.
• Educate players on brand recognition and interactive programs.
• Visit assigned retailers on a regular cycle as set by Sales Management.
• Maintain GLC Sales Standards, Policies and Procedures.
• Identify, contact and recruit quality retailers.
• Develop and implement promotional activities at retail level.
• Participate in events and promotions; evenings/weekends may be required.
• Maintain retailer communications in SFA/OnePlace and keep records.
• Deliver POS materials, supplies and tickets as directed by Sales Management.

JOB SUMMARY

The purpose of this job is to maximize the sale of Lottery Products by contacting established and prospective retailers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Train retailers with reference to lottery products, equipment, and services.
• Educate players with reference to brand recognition and interactive programs.
• Visit assigned retailers on a consistent cycle as determined by Sales Management.
• Ensure that all GLC Sales Standards, Policies and Procedures are consistently met.
• Identifies, contacts, and recruits quality retailers.
• Develop and implement promotional activities at retail level.
• Participates and assists in special events, promotions, and lottery sales. May require evenings and weekend schedule.
• Maintains complete and accurate records of all retailer communications in SFA (OnePlace).
• Delivers point-of-sale materials, supplies and other items as directed by Sales Management.
• Delivers and picks up instant tickets as directed by Sales Management.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field preferred
• Three or more years of sales promotion and merchandising experience.
• Ability to lift and carry moderately heavy (up to 50 lbs.) material and supplies.
• Must possess a valid Georgia driver's license and a satisfactory motor vehicle record.
• Some evening and weekend work required.
• Any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
