Job Title: Sales & Replenishment Manager

Summary Description:
The Sales & Replenishment Manager is a key leader responsible for overseeing and optimizing the sales, forecasting, and replenishment strategies for key accounts. This role is focused on driving operational efficiency, increasing sales productivity, and building strategic partnerships with major retailers. The Sales & Replenishment Manager will lead data-driven decision-making, manage inventory flow, and ensure high in-stock levels while minimizing excess inventory. This role also involves leading cross-functional collaboration between sales, supply chain, and logistics teams to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership & Development:
    Lead and mentor a team of analysts, ensuring their professional growth and fostering a high-performing, data-driven culture. Drive team accountability for delivering accurate and timely sales reports, forecasts, and inventory analysis.

  • Data-Driven Sales & Inventory Management:
    Oversee the analysis of POS, inventory, and sales data to identify trends, assess product demand, and drive decision-making. Ensure the team proactively addresses potential challenges and opportunities by analyzing relevant key metrics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

  • Strategic Partnership Development:
    Build and maintain productive relationships with key retail contacts in replenishment, forecasting, and purchasing departments. Act as a strategic partner, ensuring alignment on forecasts, promotional planning, and supply chain initiatives to meet On-Time, In-Full (OTIF) and inventory goals.

  • Forecasting & Demand Planning:
    Collaborate closely with Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to develop robust forecasts at the item and category levels. Use insights from customer behavior, market trends, and performance data to optimize demand planning and ensure timely product availability.

  • Inventory Optimization:
    Manage inventory levels to support optimal in-stock positions without overstocking. Ensure efficient replenishment processes by monitoring SKU-level data and making recommendations to adjust ordering cycles and inventory flow. Continuously track and improve OTIF performance.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    Partner with internal stakeholders in Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Operations to drive business objectives. Use data insights to support key initiatives, including product launches, line reviews, and promotional planning, while aligning on broader strategic goals.

  • Performance Reporting & Presentations:
    Oversee the preparation and presentation of clear, actionable reports and presentations for both internal and external audiences. Ensure the team provides insightful analyses to drive decisions across multiple areas of the business.

  • Technology & Process Optimization:
    Implement best practices in forecasting and replenishment processes. Lead the team in maximizing the use of retailer portals and internal systems to improve efficiency and reporting accuracy. Stay ahead of industry trends and new technologies to keep the team agile and responsive to market changes.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education:
    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Analytics, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certifications in relevant areas are a plus.

  • Experience:
    5+ years of experience in sales, replenishment, demand planning, or supply chain management, ideally in the consumer goods or retail sectors. Previous management or team leadership experience is strongly preferred.

  • Retail Technology Expertise:
    Demonstrated experience using Walmart Retail Link/Luminate.

  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:
    Proven ability to analyze large datasets, interpret trends, and turn data into actionable insights. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIFS) and experience with other Microsoft Office suite software (Word, PowerPoint, Access).

  • Communication & Leadership:
    Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and actionable way. Strong leadership skills to guide a team in achieving business goals.

  • Adaptability:
    Ability to navigate a fast-paced, changing environment and implement new technologies or processes to enhance team performance.
