The Role
About Monark Brands

Monark Brands is a fast-growing CPG platform with a full line of award winning snacks and better-for-you candy. Retailers include Walmart, Costco, Aldi, Hy-Vee, and TJX banners, among many others.

The Role

We’re hiring a Sales & Replenishment Analyst to own the day-to‑day operational engine of our business across all retailers. This is an operations-forward role. You are the person who keeps the shelves full, the items set up cleanly, the reports accurate, the forecasts aligned, and the buyer inbox one step ahead.

You’ll partner directly with the founder and our global supply chain team. On any given week you’ll be reconciling RJW pallet allocations, watching Scintilla for in-stock and replenishment signals, running Costco item and inventory reviews, setting up new items, refreshing digital pages, and flagging risks before they become chargebacks or lost sales.

What You’ll OwnWalmart replenishment and inventory
  • Monitor daily store in-stock, DC in-stock, order cadence, and forecast accuracy in Retail Link and Scintilla.
  • Own KPIs against Walmart standards: Store In-Stock, DC In-Stock, OTIF, ASN accuracy, and SQEP.
  • Manage RJW inventory allocations by SKU, coordinate moves in/out, and reconcile against incoming containers.
  • Track inbound shipments (by land and ocean freight) against DC receipts and store demand; elevate risk of out‑of‑stocks or overstocks early.
  • Diagnose replenishment anomalies and communicate clearly to internal and retailer stakeholders.
  • Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for Walmart Replenishment Managers; run CPFR-style forecast alignment and align Monark’s internal forecast with Walmart’s.
Item setup, maintenance, and digital
  • New item setup and ongoing maintenance in Retail Link, Supplier One, NOVA, Item 360, 1WorldSync, and IDM — published and synced before first ship to prevent penalties.
  • Manage the digital shelf: page content, images, A+ content, ratings/reviews health, and search visibility on Walmart.com.
  • Coordinate with design, regulatory, FSVP labeling, packaging on GTINs, dimensions, hierarchy, and label changes.
Reporting and sales analytics
  • Weekly sales, POS, and inventory reporting by SKU, DC, and store.
  • Ad-hoc analyses for buyer meetings, line reviews, promo recaps, modular resets, and post-promotion reviews.
  • Manage, track and evaluate Walmart Connect performance (ROAS, sales lift on vs. off).
  • Build and own weekly scorecards covering top-line sales, in-stock, forecast vs. actual, chargebacks, and open action items.
Buyer presentations & sales decks
  • Independently build polished, buyer-ready PowerPoint decks — new item pitches, line reviews, quarterly business reviews, promo recaps, and presentations.
  • Translate POS and inventory data into clear, visual stories a buyer can act on in a 30-minute meeting.
  • Own version control, brand consistency, and the deck library in SharePoint / Google Drive.
Costco operations
  • Manage day-to-day Costco execution: item setup, PO management, forecast alignment, planning, and demo/event coordination.
  • Track shipments to Costco depots and warehouse-level sell-through; partner with buyers and inventory control specialists to keep stock flowing cleanly.
  • Own reporting against Costco KPIs including sell-through, service level, and OTIF.
Other account operations
  • Own operational execution for Aldi, Kroger, Hy-Vee, KEHE, Amazon, TJX (US, Canada, and Europe), among others — including item setup, PO processing, replenishment, deductions, labeling compliance, and dispute resolution using each retailer’s portal and manual.
  • Manage EDI, ASN accuracy, and routing compliance across all accounts.
Buyer communication
  • Serve as the day-to-day operational contact for buyers and replenishment managers.
  • Keep the founder copied on all substantive threads; maintain a clean, current contact map (buyer, assistant buyer, replenishment, category advisor) for every account.
  • Draft LTO offers, promo proposals, and follow-ups; know when to escal ...
Cross-functional coordination
  • Interface with manufacturing and QA partners around the world on inbound production plans, shelf life, lab testing, and labeling compliance.
  • Partner with the founder and finance on pricing, cost changes, chargebacks, deductions, and freight/logistics decisions.
  • Coordinate with logistics on truckload optimization, DC inbound scheduling, and reefer/temperature‑controlled freight where needed.
Must-Haves
  • CPG food background, ideally confection and/or snack categories.
  • Experience working with both Walmart and Costco — as a supplier, broker analyst, or on the retailer’s replenishment/buying team. Deep expertise in both accounts is required.
  • Fluency in Walmart systems: Retail Link, Scintilla, Supplier One, NOVA, Item 360, 1WorldSync, IDM, and NPO Programs.
  • Fluency in Costco operations: item setup, PO/forecast workflows, depot flow, roadshow/MVM planning, and Costco reporting.
  • Hands‑on experience with new item setup, POs, EDI, ASN, chargebacks, OTIF, deductions, and dispute resolution.
  • Exceptional PowerPoint skills — able to independently build polished, buyer‑ready sales presentations, line‑review decks, new‑item pitches, and quarterly business reviews. Strong sense of layout, hierarchy, and storytelling with data.
  • Advanced Excel (pivots, XLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS, basic modeling, dashboarding) and Google Workspace fluency (Sheets, Docs, Slides, Drive).
  • SharePoint / OneDrive for file management, versioning, and collaboration.
  • Comfortable working inside an ERP system for inventory, orders, and reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills: able to interpret large POS and inventory datasets and translate them into clear actions.
  • Track record executing at pace with minimal supervision across time zones.
  • Clear written and visual communicator who can talk to a Walmart buyer, a Costco buyer, an ocean freight forwarder, and an overseas manufacturing partner in the same afternoon — and turn any of those conversations into a deck by end of day.
Nice-to-Haves
  • Aldi experience — direct or through a supplier partner — including item setup, buyer interactions, and Aldi Finds/rotation programs.
  • Kroger experience — Vendor Portal, 84.51° / Stratum reporting, and Kroger replenishment workflows.
  • Direct experience with RJW (or another Walmart consolidator) and store-level replenishment mechanics.
  • Experience with Walmart Connect, Amazon Vendor/Seller Central, and Instacart.
  • Familiarity with Hy-Vee, KEHE, Amazon, TJX, and Ross portals and vendor manuals.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, analytics, or related field.
