Job summary

KnitWell Group is seeking a friendly Support Associate for its Soma store in South Portland, ME. This role blends back-of-house inventory work with front-of-house service, ensuring stock is replenished, merchandised, and available to customers.

You'll manage shipments, organize the stockroom, and uphold brand standards while delivering a hospitality-driven shopping experience. The position is regular/part-time with weekend and evening flexibility and requires lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory processes: intake, store, and ticket merchandise for smooth replenishment on the sales floor.

• Maintain a visually inspiring store environment reflecting brand standards.
• Assist store leaders with visual directives, floor sets, signage, and displays.

About the role

As a Support Associate, your role places you both in the back of the house and on the sales floor. You manage inventory processes that keep the customer experience running smoothly—processing shipments, moving products from the stockroom, and ensuring everything is where it needs to be. You're proactive, pay close attention to detail, and keep the team informed about inventory needs. You also uphold brand standards and contribute to a positive team culture.

• Assist store leaders with executing visual directives, including updating floor sets, window changes, visual presentations, and signage placements.
