We are immediately hiring a SALES PROFESSIONALto drive new and existing business through the NEWENGLANDterritory, with a concentration and home baselocation of BOSTON. You will have a proven recordof winning and developing business with commercial contractors,flooring contractors and installers, specifiers, architects, andother key influencers. This is a field sales position withdaily territory travel including some overnight. Base salary, bonus, commission.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive Sales Growth of ARDEX and Henry products
  • Generate Leads and win new business opportunities
  • Promote Products through hands-on demonstrations,presentations, and professional displays
  • Build Relationships with partner distributors,specialist flooring/tiling contractors, general contractors,architects, and key business influencers.
  • Field Service & Support including job startassistance, bid preparation, and distributor/installer training
  • Technical Expertise and technicalrecommendations, liaising with our technical team for resourcesand solutions
  • Achieve Targets and exceed goals
  • Collaborate with corporate resources (Technical,Customer Service, Marketing, Logistics) to deliver exceptionalservice to ARDEX customers
  • Exceptional Standards - represent ARDEX as theindustry leader for exemplary professional standards and a'customer first' approach.

Experience and Skills:
  • Minimum 5 years outside sales experience is essential.Knowledge of building materials industries is required. Knowledgeof flooring installation systems is desirable
  • Technical proficiency and familiar with architecturalspecifications and construction design elements
  • High levels of business integrity, ethics and goodprofessional judgement
  • High level of energy and enthusiasm for the industry. Solutiondriven and customer focused
  • Must be able to conduct product presentations anddemonstrations confidently and professionally
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clean drivingrecord. Must be able to travel daily throughout assignedterritory, including some overnight.
  • Able to operate non power and power tools. Good mechanical orhands-on skills to meet the needs of intensive and physicallydemanding field support and service
  • Able to lift to 70 pounds on occasion, with a carryingcapability of 55 pounds.
  • Four (4) year college degree is preferred, or minimumcompleted high school diploma with relevant industry work experience.
