Job Responsibilities

  1. Lead Generation
  2. Holds self-accountable for prospecting a minimum of 1-2 hours each day
  3. Obtains referrals from families served by the location
  4. Networks and builds community and civic relationships
  5. Explains and presents to families served and referred families
  6. Maintains and tracks activity levels to ensure productivity
  7. Build Relationships with Families
  8. Responds to client inquiries in a timely, respectful, sensitive, and professional manner
  9. Connects with families through listening, honest communication, and genuine concern
  10. Develops understanding of each family’s needs and offers solutions that provide value
  11. Stays in touch with families to ensure satisfaction
  12. Prepares for all appointments and performs all procedures professionally and with attention to detail
  13. Follows through on all customer problems and requests
  14. Builds trust-based relationships to earn referrals
  15. Educates families on the benefits of pre-planning to gain referrals and protect family members
  16. Teamwork
  17. Provides seamless service from at-need to aftercare, supporting families in the future
  18. Collaborates with funeral directors, location managers, and staff to ensure high-quality service
  19. Reviews previous family contacts to support current needs and sales
  20. Shares family concerns with the team

Minimum Requirements

  1. Education
  2. High school diploma or equivalent
  3. 1-2 years of college or equivalent experience
  4. Experience
  5. Customer service or sales experience preferred
  6. Licenses
  7. Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  8. Insurance license if required by law
  9. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  10. Ability to pass internal presentation certification within 30 days
  11. Availability to work evenings and weekends
  12. Ability to drive frequently and work up to 12 hours when needed
  13. Empathy, respect, computer skills, customer service skills
