We are immediately hiring a Sales Professional at ARDEX Americas (www.ardexamericas.com), a global leader in high-performance building solutions for substrate preparation, floor covering, tile and stone installation, and architectural concrete systems. We develop and manufacture advanced products for commercial and residential use, emphasizing customer-driven solutions and project reliability. Position Overview:
We are seeking a SALES PROFESSIONAL to expand our business in the NEW YORK METRO area—covering Metropolitan New York, Long Island, with a preferred base in New Jersey. The role involves building relationships with commercial contractors, flooring contractors, installers, specifiers, architects, and other key influencers. It is a field sales position requiring daily travel within the territory, including some overnight stays.

Compensation: $80,000 - $120,000 (base salary + commission + bonus).

Required Experience:

  • 5+ years of outside sales experience
  • Experience in building materials or the construction industry
  • Strong technical knowledge of architectural specifications or construction design
  • Experience delivering product presentations and training
  • Ability to work independently, manage territory travel, and meet/exceed sales goals
  • High energy, integrity, and sound judgment
  • Mechanical aptitude and comfort with tools and physically demanding tasks (lifting up to 70 lbs)
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record and ability to travel daily with some overnight stays
  • Four-year college degree preferred; industry experience considered
