Job summary

AutoNation in Katy, TX seeks a Porter/Vehicle Transport associate to keep the lot organized, move units, and assist with deliveries. The role requires basic automotive knowledge, the ability to drive, and maintaining clean, presentable inventory on lot and showroom.

You will transport vehicles, assist with weather cleanup, and support building and grounds tasks. This position offers benefits and growth opportunities within AutoNation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of basic automotive repair and maintenance.
• Ability to drive across surrounding states to transport vehicles.
• Valid state driver's license.
• Ability to operate an automobile.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Keep the vehicle lot neat and orderly and move units as directed by sales managers.
• Transport customers and dealership personnel as needed and assist with deliveries.
• Ensure vehicles are clean and in good repair on lot and showroom; place window stickers on new arrivals.
• Pick up vehicles from storage and deliver to storage or other dealerships.
• Assist with weather-related cleanup and perform building/grounds maintenance as needed.
• Take on other functions and special projects as assigned.
